Karan Ann (Gueguen) Kornick

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Karan Ann Gueguen Kornick age 83, of Abbotsford B.C, who went to be with the Lord on September 13th, 2026. Born March 30, 1943, in Moncton, New Brunswick. Karan lived a life deeply devoted to her family, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.

Karan was a remarkable woman who dedicated her heart and soul to raising her family. She was known for her warm spirit and ability to bring comfort and joy to everyone who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the community she touched.

Karan was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Merk Mike Kornick who passed away 24 years before her. She was also preceded in death by her loving daughter Susan Gayle King. Her love and memories will be forever carried on by her surviving daughters Karan Kornick Mccarthy and Stephanie Kornick Round. She also leaves behind a cherished legacy through her grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and dear friends.

In keeping with Karan's wishes, a private, closed service for her family members will be held to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Karan's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
