Mr. Kenneth Wayne Bailey

June 13, 1950 – March 25, 2015

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Kenneth Wayne Bailey at Richmond General Hospital in the loving arms of his wife Connie and daughter Jennifer. Ken fought his brief battle with cancer with courage and dignity. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Ken was fun, kindhearted, and lived a full and meaningful life, touching many people's lives along the way.

For over 40 years he was an active member and volunteer of the Marpole Curling Club and 11 years ago was a founding member of the Marpole Foundation responsible for raising over $167,000. For almost 10 years he was an integral part of the Country Meadows Senior Men's Golf Club and helped raise over $1,000,000 towards prostate cancer research.

Ken was predeceased by his brother Robert; he will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 40 years Connie, his daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Mike, parents Ray and Jean, siblings Joan (Ron), Patricia, Brenda (George), Deb (Jim), Ray (Johanna), and Teresa (Patrick) and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life on April 26, 2015 at the Richmond Curling Club at 2:00 p.m. Bring your memories, pictures and stories of this wonderful man.
