On August 11, 1946, she married Zenon Adam Litwiński. Together they built a loving home and were blessed with six children: Heniek ,Edward,Czesław, Jarosław,Jola, & Bogdan.
In 1981, Krystyna immigrated to Canada to join her sisters, first settling in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 1986, she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, where she lived in several communities throughout the Lower Mainland. Of all the places she called home, she especially loved living in downtown Vancouver, where she enjoyed, people watching, being close to the beaches, taking long walks and admiring God’s beautiful creation.
In June 2014, Krystyna moved to Surrey to live with her son Jarosław and daughter-in-law Grażynka. Their home became a place of love, comfort, and family, where she spent the final chapter of her life surrounded by those who cared for her with unwavering devotion.
Krystyna was a woman of deep faith, quiet strength, kindness and unconditional love. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: playing cards, completing crossword puzzles, listening to music, playing her guitar, watching nature programs, and faithfully enjoying The Price Is Right and Wheel of Fortune. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family. Her home was always open, her kitchen was always full and no one ever left without a warm meal, a sweet treat, or feeling loved.
She will be remembered for her generous heart, warm hospitality, gentle spirit and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her.
Krystyna is lovingly remembered by her children, Jarosław & Grażynka, Edward, Jola & Maciek, and Bogdan; her brother Bogdan & Gienia Wejkszner; her cherished grandchildren Ernest & Jola, Emilia & Darcy, Mearel & Kristina, Kelsey & Ken, Adam, Sebastian & Beata, Krystian & Beata, Bernard, Robert & Ola, Maciek Jr. & Patrycja; her beloved great-grandchildren Josh, Kaylee, Sabrina, Jason, Tyson, Chase, Kiana, Anthony, Sean, Mia, David, Brian, Nicole, Klaudia, Lena, Karl, Viktor, Veronika, and Vivienne, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Although her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her, and resting forever in the loving presence of her Lord and Saviour.
