Beloved and dedicated family man, he was always full of life—busy, active, hardworking, and eager to learn new things. He had a remarkable memory and often shared his knowledge and wisdom with us.
Dad arrived in Canada in 1952. He learned English in just six months at Strathcona School in Vancouver's Chinatown. Though he already knew Chinese writing he enjoyed calligraphy. He also learned various forms of Tai Chi.
Over the years, he worked many jobs: selling vegetables door-to-door, picking fruit in the Okanagan, owning a grocery store.
After retiring, he grew restless, so he earned his real estate license and thrived as a realtor for ten years, successfully buying and selling homes for clients and eventually earning Canada Trust Leader's Club and achieved Medallion Club.
He was deeply caring and held strong family values.
