In life, Lai Kuen was a very forgiving and curious person that enjoyed traditional Chinese dancing following her retirement. She had a love of Cantonese foods, in particular, roast pork.
Her passing was preceded by her husband, Shick Hang Wong. She is survived by her son (Harvey) and daughter-in-law (Sally), daughter (Emily) and son-in-law (David), and five grandchildren (Wyman, Ethan, Alden, Matthew, and Mila). She will be missed dearly by her family.
A funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby on Saturday July 18th, 2026 at 10:00 am. Public viewing/visitation will be held on at the Forest Lawn Chapel on Friday, July 17th from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Details for the service can also be found below.
