Lai Peng was born on October 30, 1955, in Macau China, the daughter of Chan Soi and Vong Pui Ieng.
Lai Peng married Ng Chong Tim on March 17, 1984 and had a blessed marriage.
Despite only receiving an Elementary School education back in Macau, Lai Peng managed to find work in Montreal Canada, Evry-Courcouronnes France and Vancouver Canada. A supportive wife and loving mother, Lai Peng happily tackled the challenges of living and working in a foreign country. She taught that being content with little was a virtue in life as long as there was unity in the family.
Lai Peng is survived by her husband Ng Chong Tim, her son Ng Hon Chi, her daughter-in-law Sit Cherrie and her sisters, Chan Lai Fan, Chan Lai Fong, and Chan Lai Ha.
There is no funeral service as Lai Peng wished to keep things simple. A 2-hour visitation will be held on October 20, 2024 for family and close friends.
