It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to so many.
Liliana Ines Orivolo was born in Vancouver, B.C. on February 6, 1964 and passed away peacefully with her brother at her side on October 15, 2023, aged 59.
She was predeceased by her father, Giacomo Aldo Orivolo and is survived by her adoring mother, Bertilla, her brother Adriano (Cindy) and her sister Valerie (Tony). Liliana also leaves behind to mourn her nieces Vanessa (Joel), Alex and Emilie, her nephew Nicolas as well as her grand nieces Felicity, Brynn and her grand nephew, Dax. She will also be missed by her Aunt Anna, cousins Daniela, Amalia, Sergio and their families in Italy.
Liliana’s greatest joys in life were her family, music and food. Her life from the start carried many uncertainties but she beat all odds to enjoy a simple life full of love, affection, and pure joy.
Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Columbia House, where Liliana called home for the past 13 years. She formed special bonds and friendships with all her amazing caregivers that became family as well as her sweet caring roommates.
Thank you to Dr. Lise Loubert, her family physician and to the team of Nurses at Royal Columbian Hospital who took care of our angel in her final days.
Liliana was truly a special gift from God. She enriched the lives of those who were blessed and fortunate to know her.
She will forever live on in our hearts and souls.
