We are grieved to announce the passing of Liza J. Turner (Bortolin). Daughter to Alvin and Eleanor (Guloien) Turner and mother to Rebekah, Christine, and Michael Bortolin. She brought light and happiness to everyone she met and was a devoted nurse and teacher. Her fight against cancer was short, but resiliant. She will be sorely missed. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC on Sunday, March 6th, 2011 at 1:30 pm, followed by a reception in the Tea Lounge of the Funeral Home. Cremation. (Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.) In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or the BC Cancer Agency.
