Rita passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long struggle with dementia. She is predeceased by husband Ray and leaves behind her children Ron (Lane), Rodger (Silvia), Joan (Glenn), Barry, Greg and Scott, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Rita lived life to the fullest and enjoyed her hobbies of baking and gardening. She loved camping and going to the beach. Rita will be deeply missed by her friends and family. Thank you to all the staff at Guildford Seniors Village for your compassionate care. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday Feb. 21, 10:00 AM at Ocean View Funeral Chapel.
