Luigi Grandinetti passed away on January 16, 2014 at the age of 93 years. He was born July 10,1920 in Spezzano Piccolo, Italy and immigrated to Canada after the WWII. He was a devoted father and grandfather who always worked hard for the betterment of his family. He is predeceased by his wife Giovannina and his sister Iolanda Cannata. He is survived by his loving children Virgilio, Yolanda (Noel Keough), and Gino (Joy Norgard); grandchildren Joanna, Luca, and Maja; brother Sam (Grace); and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 24 at St Helen's church at 1:00 p.m., 3860 Triumph Street, in Burnaby. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to Seton Villa Society, 3755 McGill Street, Burnaby, B.C. V5C 1M2 would be appreciated.
