Mrs. Margaret Jacqueline Forrest

Forrest, Margaret Jacqueline (Jacquie) passed away in her sleep on February 15, 2022 in her 88th year. Jacquie is survived by her daughter Sherry, son Mark, Sister Judy (Al), grandsons, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Bill and brother Douglas (Eileen).

Mom was born on June 27, 1934 on the High Seas aboard the transpacific ocean liner MV Aorangi from Sydney to Vancouver with a birth certificate from Suva, Fiji. She lived almost her whole life in Vancouver where she raised her family. Mom loved being a mom, horse racing, cruising, Las Vegas and shopping. She will be remembered as a caring person who was very generous and will be sadly missed. At mom’s request, there will be cremation with no service held.
