Maria was born November 14, 1937, in Avezzano, L’Aquila, Italy and passed away in Vancouver, British Columbia, Saturday, September 12, 2026, with her loving children by her side. Maria is survived by her children Robert (Maria), Gabriella, Janie, Liliana (Mike), she was a loving Nonna to her grandchildren Michael (Lindsay), Robert Jr (Iolanda), Madelaine (Will), Tiana, Giuliano, Dante, Domenica, her great grandchildren Moreno, and another precious baby boy on the way.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 11:00 am, entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, Garden Mausoleum.
