Maria Carmela Mobilio

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Carmela Mobilio, a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Maria passed away peacefully on March 11, 2021 at the age of 61. Born March 14, 1959 in Montefredane, Avellino, Italy, she was predeceased by her beloved parents Virgilio and Carmela Lombardese, and father-in-law Antonio Mobilio. Maria is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband Salvatore, and her three children, Matthew (Karyssa), Anthony (Madison) and Marco whom she adored. She is also survived by her sister Elsa (Don), brothers Steve (Tracy), Mauro (Cherie), mother-in-law Vincenzina, and brothers and sisters-in-law Domenic (Elena), Joe, Rosa (Rob), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Maria’s thoughtful and caring disposition and generous spirit will be remembered by all those who knew and loved her. She will remain forever in our hearts.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Queen of All Saints Church. Due to the current restrictions, the Funeral Mass can be viewed online via live stream at https://www.legacystreaming.com/dignity-burnaby/ In lieu of flowers, donations in Maria’s honour may be made to the Michael Cuccione Foundation or the Domenic Mobilio Foundation.
