Thursday, April 9th at 1:05 am, our dear wife, mom and nonna, Maria Tortora passed away. She was born July 7th, 1937 in Bitritto, Bari. She battled with dementia and had spent the last few months in the hospital. At the age of 82, she passed away at Queens Park Centre.
Maria will always be remembered for her cheerful and warm smile. No words can describe how much she'll be missed by her family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Burnaby General (5th floor Ace Unit), Queens Park Care Centre and Dr. Salvino for their compassionate care during her illness.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family will be having a closed burial for immediate family only.
May she finally rest in peace in God's hands.
