Marija Biljan

Marija died of natural causes on December 24th, 2021 at the age of 76 due to illness. Marija is survived by her loving husband Ante Biljan; her daughter Felisha Matthew; her son Edward Biljan; her grandson Evan Matthew; her grandaughter Loa Biljan, her son-in-law Gerald Lemay and her daughter-in-law April Geres; her nieces Kristina Svab and Sandy Kasumovic; as well as her brother, Ica and sisters, Nane and Kate; other dear relatives in Croatia; and many friends in the Lower Mainland/Vancouver area.

Marija was kind and generous to everyone who knew her and loved her. She was always a supportive and caring mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved to share stories about growing up in Croatia. She loved to cook, garden, and travel. She was always there to lend a hand, share a recipe, or give words of advice. She will be missed dearly and her memory will live on in our hearts and minds forever.
