Marinos "Martin" Pantelidis

Born in Athens, Greece, then moving to Canada in 1966 at the age of 16, Martin settled in Vancouver, having favoured its mild climate.

Starting out as a busboy then later moving into the building trades, Martin did well enough to start a family.

Martin always had a jolly demeanor, filled with charisma and goodwill. He enjoyed gatherings with loved ones, watching movies, playing video games, and napping with a book on the couch. He loved his children even more.

Martin was predeceased by his daughter, Julia, and siblings, Despina, and Peter. He is survived by his son, Andreas, siblings, Mary, Ted, and George, his granddaughters, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby from 4:00pm – 6:00pm on Friday, July 17, 2026.
