He was born on November 9, 1934, in Amato, Province of Catanzaro, Italy.
Mario was predeceased by his parents, Tommaso and Caterina Cantafio; his brothers, Gaetano and Dominic; and his sisters, Caterina, Giovanna, and Angelina.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Tom, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Burial Park.
