Born on January 12, 1934, in Vancouver, Marion grew up in Chinatown, where she formed many of the values and memories that shaped her life.
Marion met Ken, the love of her life, and the two were married on September 22, 1953. Together they created a warm and welcoming home and with their children, Byron and Karen. Marion cherished family life and found joy in gardening, knitting, crocheting, and caring for those she loved.
She worked part-time for the Vancouver Sun in the Classified Ads department at the original Sun building, later moving to the Pacific Press building on Granville Street, where she remained until her retirement.
Marion is survived by her son, Byron (Stephanie); daughter, Karen; and granddaughters, Emma and Miriam. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley (Art); sister-in-law, Janet; and many nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, a proud mother, and a loving grandmother. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
Marion will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed every day.
