It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother. Mom passed away peacefully at home after a battle with congestive heart failure and liver disease. Mom was born in Vegreville, Alberta to Fred and Mary Slobidnyk. Mom is survived by her loving sons Daniel and Dennis, sister Rose (Paul), sister in-law Anne as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Fred, parents Fred and Mary, mother in-law Mary Kotyk, brothers William, Richard and Hank, sisters Anne and Katherine. Mom was larger than life and her sparkle will never be dimmed. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten by everyone that knew her. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Grave side service will take place at Ocean View Cemetery, 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby on Saturday Oct.15 at 1:00 PM
