She left this world as she lived in it—gently. Surrounded by love, she slipped into rest, the room quiet with tenderness, the air filled with gratitude for a life well-lived.
Predeceased by her husband, Fred Gin Fat, she is lovingly remembered by her children: Sharon, Ben (Sherry), David (Monique), Karen, and Gordon (Grace); her grandchildren: Nicki (Justin),Traci (Nathan), James (Sarah), Holly (Pierre),Crystal (Matthew), Jason (Sally); and ten adored great-grandchildren who brought endless joy to her life.
Her life was a tapestry of simple, sacred joys—tending to her garden, the graceful flow of tai chi, the folding of dumplings with care, gathering around a table for mahjong. In her honour, we invite you to embrace these small, beautiful rituals in memory of her spirit.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly invites you to make a donation in her memory to Vancouver General Hospital (vghfoundation.ca), where she received care and comfort in her final chapter.
