You always had good energy and made everyone laugh. Will miss you brother. Always be in Peace 

When I first met him, he was so friendly and talked passionately about building a community within our little neighbourhood. As I got to know him a bit more, we began to share our love of F1. He wished for Red Bull to become champions once more and I’m glad he got to see them as he was such a fan. 

From time to time, we also bumped into each other in the garage as he got ready for his regular bike rides with the girls. He tackled those bike rides with verve and gusto. Really put his heart into his girls, even with that small glimpse of his family life, I could feel the love and warmth he had.

Please, continue to follow F1 up there, and let’s watch F1 together, Mercedes will catch up to Red Bull soon and we can watch the battles again

Meng was a businessman in many ways. He was always asking me about my companies. He had big ideas and nothing was a dream that couldn't be reality. I'll never forget how confident he was about pursuing new challenges and taking on the world. 

There was nothing that Meng wouldn't do for a friend and nothing he couldn't achieve. He had a can-do attitude that rubbed off on everyone who knew him.  It was something that I always admired about him. 


Hard to believe us in High School but here we are. The gang hanging out. Meng was a good kid, stayed out of trouble and had a vision of where he wanted to be. Whatever he wanted he went for 100%. 

He will live on in our memories and will never be forgotten. 

In this photo, you can see my business partner behind Meng. Jamie and I ran a business together for just over 13 years in London, UK. 

When Meng was working for Air Canada, he sometimes had a layover for one night. I would get a call saying "hey buddy I'm in London for one night let's party".  My business partner Jamie loved meeting and hanging out with Meng. Although he didn't know him well, Meng was someone Jamie always asked me about. 

He had a lasting impression on anyone he met. Something special that stuck with people. I'll miss his smile that got us into trouble sometimes but out of trouble most of the time. 

This photo is a summary of weekends growing up in our early twenties. It was a lot of fun and weekends were the time to party with the boys. Lots of memories of Meng getting David and me into clubs. Generally, we would skip the line just by being with Meng. 

It didn't matter where we went Meng seemed to always know someone that could help us. He brought people together and loved making connections. 

I saw Meng about a month ago. We joked about our girls getting older and spoke about family. We laughed about us also starting to feel older. In a way, I felt like we were both finally grown-ups for the first time. Strange right, but being around Meng always made me feel young. It was just his way and how he made people feel. 

You’ll always be in our hearts and memories. Thank you for being my friend. 

I was deeply saddened to hear of this.  Meng and I just had a quick conversation in the office a few weeks ago.  My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Meng.  Rest in peace my friend. 

On Jun 17, to celebrate Father Day in a restaurant he was so happy with his kids and us to get-together.

Sending my deep condolences to Rebecca, Melina, Mikayla, and Mengs parents.  I will never forget Mengs hospitality, generosity and expertise in cooking steak and making sure I was always well fed when I visited.  And how he welcomed me, Rebecca’s friend, a place to stay overnight when I was having a challenging time.  It’s a shock to loose loved ones suddenly and I’m praying that the Holy Spirit leads, heals and helps the girls grieve and gain comfort in their loss.  Will miss Meng every time I arrive in Vancouver.  Celebrating his graduation into union with the Lord and sending the warmest hugs to Mengs girls.  Xoxo 

You were a light in my life. As I’m sure you were to everyone who met you. I miss you deeply.
