Miranda Wai Man Chan was born in Hong Kong in 1953. She completed her University education in the United States and immigrated to Canada about 30 years ago. She worked as a French tutor for high school students. She devoted herself to taking care of her parents, and was proud of her role as their primary care-giver. They were very close as a family. She was particularly dedicated to taking care of her father after his fall. Now she joined her beloved parents.
