April 20, 1936 – April 15, 2011
We said good-bye to our dear mother, grandmother, friend and wife Mon Ling Mah (nee Wong) on April 15th. She died peacefully in her sleep at Vancouver General Hospital five days before her 75th birthday after a short battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Wong Lau Yuk Moy and Wong Hing Yee; and brother, Benny Wong. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 53 years, Bruce Kuen Keung; son, Peter (Fay); daughter, Lana (Bob Gregory, St. John’s, NL); four precious grandchildren, Calvin, Liam and Mariel Gregory, and Nicholas Mah; sister, So Yuet Hui (San Diego); sister-in-law; Joanne Wong; dear friend Fernanda Goncalves; and a large circle of extended family and friends. We would like to thank Drs. Geddes, Gill and Mah of the BC Cancer Agency, and the medical and nursing staff of the 10th floor Tower at VGH for all their wonderful care and support. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at Forest Lawn on April 28th at 10AM. The family requests any donations in her memory be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
