Nancy will forever be remembered by her loving compassionate big heart, warm smile, hardworking soul and smart knowledge. Nancy was born January 3, 1954 in Hong Kong.
Nancy developed a love for attention to details at a young age. Shortly after arriving in Canada in 1975, Nancy started working for the accounting department at Horne and Pitfield Limited (or what is now known as Sobeys).
Nancy retired from Sobey's at the age 55 after more than 30 years of dedicated services at Sobeys
When Nancy wasn't working, her time was spent with her family traveling on occasional trips to Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Hong Kong and Las Vegas.
She enjoyed playing a game of Mahjong with her friends. She had a love for good foods as well.
Nancy's life was cut short when she immediately became ill in July 2025.
Her sudden death shows others how to live their life to the fullest and to cherish every moment we have together. Nancy always demonstrated strength and compassion to others. Right up to the very last minute of Nancy's life she was still putting others first before her needs. Her smile and strength will forever be lived on through everyone who got the privilege of meeting her.
She is survived by: her son, Darren; her daughters, Jannie and Annie; her grandson, Ethan; her granddaughter, Charlotte; her sisters, Connie, Anita, Roleta, and Renata: her brothers, Raymond, Simon and Kam; and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her father, Jim Lee; her mother; Ngor Lee and her sister, Sim Lau.
Nancy shared a kindred spirit with her beloved dog, Taffy. Every morning, Taffy would faithfully visit, nudging her gently out of bed, a playful reminder of love and companionship. Their bond was a daily joy, a quiet testament to the warmth and loyalty that filled Nancy’s life.
