Nellie Margaret Lauro

Born June 8th, 1936, in Lloydminster, Alberta living outside of the town of Marwayne till the age of 9. The family moved to Vancouver BC where she attended St. Francis Catholic primary and graduated from Templeton Highschool.

Nellie married her true love Robert A Lauro in 1955 and they were happily married for 55 years. They had three children, son Robert J., (Suzanne), their children Nicole, Robert Shane, Emma and Andrew Ravenhill (Great Grandson Nicholas), so Patrick 0., (Susie), their children Andrew and Colton Michele and Andrew Shannon, children Tessa and Blake.

Nellie was predeceased by her grandson Shane, daughter Michele and husband Robert.

Our warm and loving mother put everyone's needs before her own for her entire 90 years. We will keep her in our hearts, loving her forever and thinking of her always. Mum has gone to join Dad, Michele and Shane in the light of Jesus' love.

A Funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2025. Napier Street, Vancouver. July 15th, 2026, at 11:00 am.
