Nicholas was born in Kiev, Ukraine and passed away peacefully at St. Vincents Langara Hospital, Vancouver, B.C. Predeceased by his daughter Dores Johnston in 1991. Survived by his loving wife Mary, daughter Deanna (Wayne) Smith, and 2 sisters Effe Gorval and Jennie Gorval. Funeral service at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 31st at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, B.C. Entombment Ocean View Abbey, Burnaby, B.C.
