Nicola Testini

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Nicola (Nick) Testini, age 84, on November 20 2014 with his wife by his side. Nick was born in Lanciano, Abruzzo, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1958. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Mariella, his children; Tony (Fila), Silvana (Rick), and Marco (Gina). Nonno was adored by and cherished his 7 grandchildren; Amanda and Lucas, Angela (Dan) and Christopher, Sage, Sterling (Molly), and Chase. Nick was predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Giovina, sister Maria, and brother Michele. He is survived by siblings Renato, Benito, Bruno, Laura, Gilda and their families. Nick had a strong devotion to family, a welcoming spirit, and a generous heart and will also be missed by many other relatives and dear friends in both Canada and Italy. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 27 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1450 Delta Street, Burnaby, BC. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum, Burnaby BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
