Nikola Babic passed away peacefully July 29, 2013 with his family by his side. Nikola was born December 15, 1936 in Vuckovac, Yugoslavia to Ilija and Milka Babic. He is predecased by his parents, sister Sofija and brothers Rade and Milan. He is survived by his loving family, wife Nada, daughter Snezana (Milan) Bilic; son Zoran (Linda) Babic; grandchildren Stevan, Nikola, Ivana, Eva, Aleksandra, Sofija; sisters Boja, Jovanka and Draga; nephew Ilija and niece Jovanaka in Vancouver and many family members back home. Special thank-you to Kumovi, friends and the V.G.H. Cardiac Care Unit for their support. Prayers will be held 7:00 pm Monday, August 5, 2013 at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 7837 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC where Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church would be greatly appreciated.
