It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Odilon (Oddie) Lising. He is survived by his loving family: his wife of 64 years, Cerila; sons Roberto (Shirley), Ronaldo (Angela) and Rhoderick; grandchildren Ryan, Kristin, Alexa (Colin), Derek, Lita and Donovan and great-grandson Hudson. Visitation will be offered at 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 12 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13 at St. Andrew's Parish 480 E. 47 Avenue, Vancouver. Any family and guests planning to attend are requested to be seated in the sanctuary by 10:15 am please. Interment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park, Abbey Mausoleum 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby and a reception will take place at the Scandinavian Community Centre 6540 Thomas Street, Burnaby until 4:30 p.m.
