It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Olive Fera on July 18, 2022 at Nicola Lodge Care Home. She is predeceased by her husband Gino Fera, and survived by her loving family, her 5 children: Tony (Rose), Dan (Debbie), Marie (Joe Favia), Annabelle Fera (Greg Lazar), Robert (Denise), 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend our grateful thanks to the caring staff at Burnaby General Hospital, McKenney Hospice and also the wonderful staff at Nicola Lodge. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26th, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C. Reception to follow at The Italian Cultural Centre, 3075 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C. Private family entombment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Covenant House.
