Omid Ramin

Omid passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 30, 2025 at the age of 49. He will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind, loving, and joyful soul.

Omid cared deeply about the world, he biked in all weather, spent his summers at wreck beach, had a colourful fashion sense, turned ex-girlfriends into life-long friends, and whenever possible, ate dessert first. Wherever he went, he left a lasting impression, sometimes with stickers!

He will be missed by his mom, brother and other siblings, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, sister-in-law, Jube Jubes the cat, and the many friends whose lives he touched.

Funeral Service: 10am at the West Superior section of Ocean View Cemetery (4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby).

Directions: To join us at the gravesite turn into the main Cemetery road, pass the main buildings (on your right), take the first right and then an immediate left, turn right again and you will see a tent in the West Superior section of the Cemetery. Please give yourself 15 minutes to find the location.

Reception: To follow after the service in the main building.

Dress Code: Please be colourful, just like Omid. His favourite colours were orange, blue and pink.
