

Lovingly remembered by daughter Linda (Brian), sons Carson and Ken (Verna), grandchildren Jennifer (Wayne), Clarence (Jenny), Stephanie (Michael), Natalie and Alex; great-grandsons Keanan, Brennan, Benjamin and Matthew.
Predeceased by parents Admiral Chan Chek and Mrs. Seto Ying Wan, husband Ching Pei, seven siblings, and daughter-in-law Felicia.
Paula was born in Guangzhou, China. She received her undergraduate degree from Yin Jing University in China and her Masters in Journalism from University of Missouri.
She spent her professional career as a journalist, and as an educator in Hongkong, Malaysia and British Columbia.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Caterina McGuire, and the staff and caregivers of Opal Seniors Residence for their dedicated, compassionate and loving care.
Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn Chapel, Burnaby on March 11, 2022 at 10 am, followed by interment. Attendance will be restricted due to COVID. Livestreaming will be available.
