Philip was much loved and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Davena, his sons, Vince (Louise), Rick (Sandra), Anthony (Olivia) and his grandchildren Chiara and Sereno.
In Italy he was a shoemaker and a barber. When Phil came to Canada he was an avid golfer and bowler. While working for Brunswick Bowling, he met Davena in 1979, and the two of them had many bowling dates with cherished friends before they married in 1984. He also enjoyed dancing, skiing, ice skating, country music and playing music on his guitar and djembe, but most of all he was a passionate sailor who found freedom, solace and joy on the water while sailing his Tornado Catamaran sailboat in regattas in Canada and the United States.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home at 4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, on Sunday, July 13th, at 1:00 pm.
