We remember Peter as a friend of the neighbourhood. In 2014 my wife & I were on the Jane's Walk in North Burnaby and Peter came out to greet the thirty-or-so of us touring the neighbourhood on foot. He took great interest in the historical photos we had with us, and he spoke fondly and interestingly about the history of the house and street where he lived. We trust he has inspired others to live as he did, so the future of the community will continue in the same spirit.
 We just heard of Peter's passing from a friend who lives in the area, and hope our remembrance of him comforts his family and friends.

My heart and thoughts are with you all and I send my love. I will miss Nonno's voice at Christmas when the boys play Uechre. But I will have the happy memory of the lunch when I was home to visit just a few months ago.

Our deepest condolences to you. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about the passing of our dear Peter. 

We are deeply saddened. We are very sorry. This is a very difficult time for anyone who knew Peter. Peter was our best friend ever, especially to Esmail.
 
Peter was a great blacksmith, farmer, mechanic, hunter, musician, and even a barber of his dear friend. In fact, he was the true engineer and a wonderful teacher. He was very knowledgeable and could always came up with a solution to any type of problem might have, no matter how difficult the problem was. He was always caring, helpful and full of brilliant advices. Peter was devoting his time to anyone he knew. Peter was such a kind soul, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Peter brought so many gifts to our life. We will never forget him.
 
Bruna, we are always here for you; please let us know whenever you need help with anything. We know how much you will miss Peter, but you can take comfort and strength from your wonderful family. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

 It is with great sadness that I mourn the passing of such a loving uncle. He always was welcoming, kind and friendly. He was a hard worker, a loving father and a caring husband. My mother and I have talked many times of his illness and prayers were said on his behalf.

We are very sorry about the passing of Peter, a very warm person, friend and almost paesano ( Sono da Fanzolo ). For a long time he taught me how to play bocce well at the center. Peter always had a smile in his face and was good company to be with. A very proud 'Alpino'. He would wear his hat at various ceremonies.
