Pietro Guzzo

October 18, 1940 – May 9, 2025

With heavy hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of Pietro Guzzo, who left us peacefully on May 9, 2025, at Vancouver General Hospital.

Pietro was the heart of our family—a devoted husband, a proud and loving father, and a deeply cherished Nonno. Born on October 18, 1940, in San Giovanni in Fiore, Calabria, he built a beautiful life rooted in strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. His presence was grounding, his smile unforgettable, and his pride in his family immeasurable.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Teresa, and their children Giovanna (Antonio), Marco (Jenny), Gino (Gina), and Tia. Pietro was the proud Nonno of seven wonderful grandchildren, each of whom lit up his world and brought him immense joy.

Though words can never capture all that he was, we will carry his spirit with us always.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Helen’s Parish, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby, on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
