Quai Kee’s sense of humour, generosity, and dedication to his family will always be remembered. He loved gardening, his beautiful garden and well-kept lawn were often admired by neighbours and passersby alike. He devoted countless hours of time and care to his grandchildren, creating cherished memories that included waking up in the early hours of the morning to take them out for breakfast, lunches at Ho Yuen Kee, and many trips to the dollar store. His grandchildren will also fondly remember the many lunchtime visits he made during their kindergarten years, bringing them lunch at school or walking them home for lunch. He loved watching basketball from his recliner, bundled up in layers with a jacket, toque, and scarf, no matter the time of year. He especially enjoyed watching his favourite players, Yao Ming, Kobe Bryant, and Kevin Durant. Quai Kee was a kind soul who leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and selfless generosity that touched everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
