Robert Douglas Brose

With deep respect and love, we announce the passing of Bob Brose, whose character and integrity will always be remembered by those who knew him. Bob is survived by his wife, Elfrieda. They have been married 57 years and started dating when they were 16 years old. Bob is also survived by his daughter Jennifer (Robbie) and his son Michael (Randa), grandchildren Annie, Derek, Trace, Campbell, Redding and Jesse, his brothers Jim (Ellen) and Alan (Barbara), Uncle John, Aunt Mary, Aunt Rose and many cousins, a niece and nephews. Bob loved this family with his whole heart. Bob worked for Telus for 34 years and after retirement for Mylora Golf Course for 13 years. Bob was a pillar of his church and served in various capacities over decades of membership. He also had many fond memories of travelling with people that he loved. Bob enjoyed watching the Canucks, motorcycling, and he excelled at multiple sports over the years. A service will be held for Bob on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 2 pm at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 6858 Fraser St, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers you may wish to consider a donation to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
