Rocco was one of the smartest and kindest men I ever met. I'll miss his humour, his boundless love for his children, his willingness to take on any job, big or small and the confidence he always gave everyone that everything would be alright.

Kindest thought to everyone his life touched and much love,

Dear sister-in-law and grandchildren, tomorrow your dad has flown to heaven for 8 days. My thoughts and my prayers are always with you. But I am convinced that he has not left you, he is always with you all and supports you and prays for you.
Tomorrow you will do the funeral in an official form, I would like to be there with you and be hugged to you. I know that you will have a beautiful and honored function, worthy of him who lived as a true gentleman as well as a loving man for his family and for everyone. I will not be physically present but I will be there spiritually because I will be a church at the mass that I will dedicate to him and for comfort to all of you. I hold you close to me in a single embrace and leave you all my love and may God bless you.

Dearest sister-in-law Serafina and grandchildren, Franca and I are very sorry not to be together with you in this sad moment, luckily even though we were far away we were able to see each other sometimes and hear each other with long phone calls that we could not disconnect. Now we will miss all this very much ... Tomorrow we will be close to you with our hearts, try to make yourself strong and be happy and serene as he would have liked. A big hug to you Serafina and to you grandchildren Franco Carmela, Nino and Maria.

Dear Zio, I was immensely lucky to be able to spend precious time with you a year ago, time passed so quickly, but it was enough to understand how proud you were of your family, how hard you worked to allow everyone the better. You have recreated a small Calabria in your garden, where nothing was missing. I'll never forget how we looked at each other when you opened the door for me when we arrived at your house, when we recognized each other, when we laughed, danced, when you told the story of your and my family, when you talked about my father with the same pride with which he talks about you. I gave him that hug you asked me to give him. Have a good trip, with all my love. A special hug to all his wonderful family and to my dear aunt Serafina.

To dear Serafina and all my cousins I am sending my sincere condolences to you all on the loss of Zio Rocco. My father Giuseppe Morano (Passed)would always talk of his brother with great fondness and back in 2000 when Rocco and Serafina visited Australia we too got to know and love our uncle and aunt . His Love of his family and his stories of my cousins growing up, he spoke of how proud he was family. His passion for growing vegetables and plants was a hot topic of discussion between us all one that stemmed back to farming days back in Calabria. We were truly blessed to have had that time with Rocco and Serafina. Rocco will be dearly missed, but know that he is with my dad and at peace. Sending my love and strength to Serafina and the family.
