Passed away suddenly on Aug 1 at the age of 56. He is survived by his loving wife Sandie and much loved pets Sammie and Kaylee. His mom Grace, sisters Maria, Linda (Darrell), Lise (Pebbles) & brother Tommy. Nieces & nephews Natalie (Andrew), Vincent & Emily. He was predeceased by his father Tommaso. Roger was a life long fan of the BC Lions. As an umpire/referee Roger will be greatly missed by the Van Softball Umpires Assoc, Greater Van Basketball Officials Assoc & Van Metro Soccer League. He will also be missed by his friends and colleagues at the Canadian Grain Commission. A viewing will be held at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings St, Burnaby on Thurs Aug 14 from 5 PM to 7 PM. The funeral service will take place at St Francis of Assisi Parish 2025 Napier St, Vancouver on Friday Aug 15 at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery 5455 Fraser St, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC.
