Sally Darlene MacDonald

Sally was predeceased by her husband, Douglas MacDonald, in 2019. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Patti (John) and her sons Glen and Bruce. Sally also leaves behind four grandsons, two granddaughters and three great grandsons, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy. Sally lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by family and friends. In her younger years Sally was a

member of the first group of BC Lions cheerleaders- something she always remembered with fondness. She later worked for Canada Safeway and the BC Soccer Association. Together, Sally and Doug shared a wonderful life filled with travel and adventure. In their younger years, ski trips and then their many cruises exploring the world together with their best friends. Summers spent in

Summerland were among Sally's happiest times, creating memories with family, extended family and friends gathered at the lake. She cherished her dear girlfriends, some of whom had been by her side since high school. While sharing stories and laughter, Sally always brought fun and energy wherever she went. Above all, Sally loved her family. Her vibrant spark will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, if you so desire, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on 2026-06-15 at Burnaby Mountain Golf Course, 7600 Halifax Street
