Mr. Sang Ho Jun

Sang Ho was born on June 15, 1948 in the village of Hasong, Seonsan-eup, South Korea. He immigrated to Vancouver, Canada in 1974. In 1980, he married his beloved wife Tae Choo with whom he built a life rooted in faith, devotion, and family. Together they raised three children (Nami, Moses, and Najin) and were blessed with six grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister in Korea.

Sang Ho worked as a dental technician for 30 years and was also gifted in the fine arts. Though self-taught, he created dozens of intricate carvings, calligraphy pieces, and illustrations. He loved the outdoors and eagerly took his family camping, fishing, and hiking whenever possible. An avid reader, he was especially devoted to studying the Bible.

Sang Ho will be remembered for his stoicism, diligence, humility, generosity, devotion, and unwavering faith. He was deeply committed to his family and his church community, where he faithfully served as an elder for several years.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

전상호 님께서 2026년 2월 8일, 향년 77세로 로렐 플레이스 호스피스에서 평안히 별세하셨습니다. 고인은 오랜 시간 동안 용기 있게 병마와 싸워 오셨습니다.

상호 님은 1948년 6월 15일 대한민국 경상북도 선산읍 하송리에서 태어나셨습니다. 1974년 캐나다 밴쿠버로 이민 오셨으며, 1980년 사랑하는 아내 함태주 님과 결혼하셨습니다. 두 분은 믿음과 헌신, 그리고 가족을 중심에 둔 삶을 함께 이루어 가셨습니다. 슬하에 세 자녀(나미, 모세, 나진)를 두셨고, 여섯 명의 손주를 얻는 복을 누리셨습니다. 또한 한국에 거주하는 누님 한 분이 계십니다.

고인은 30년간 치기공사로 재직하셨으며, 미술에도 뛰어난 재능을 지니셨습니다. 정규 교육을 받지 않으셨음에도 수십 점의 정교한 조각 작품과 서예, 삽화를 남기셨습니다. 자연을 사랑하셔서 가족과 함께 캠핑, 낚시, 등산을 즐기셨으며, 독서를 즐기셨고 특히 성경을 깊이 연구하는 데 많은 시간을 보내셨습니다.

고인은 과묵함과 성실함, 겸손과 나눔의 마음, 그리고 흔들림 없는 믿음으로 기억될 것입니다. 가족과 교회 공동체를 깊이 사랑하였으며, 여러 해 동안 장로로서 충실히 섬기셨습니다.

그는 가족과 친구들의 마음속에 깊은 그리움과 함께 오래도록 기억될 것입니다.
