It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our hero, Saverino Filippelli of Burnaby, BC who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn his family and friends. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Elvira, and children, Rose (Dave) John (Lisa) Marcella (Alex); seven grandchildren, Lucas (Kamie) Jordan, Adam, Felicia, Saverino, Fernando, Matteo and one great granddaughter Santana. This exceptional man meant the world to his family. He will always be held dear in our hearts. In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. The Family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff on the 3rd. floor of the Burnaby Hospital for their amazing and compassionate care.
