Serafina passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Friday, August 6, 2010. Born April 13, 1919 in Amato, Cantanzaro, Italy. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Emilo, step-daughter Elena, step-son Raymond and great grandaughter Terra. Survived by her loving daughter Giuseppina (Carlo) Pallotto ' Pignatelli, step-daughters Antonia Berlie and Pierina (John) Copeland, step-son Gino (Lucia) Iannattone, sister-in-law Rosalina Mazzarella, brother-in-law Pietro Aiello, grandchildren Maria Wood (nee:Pignatelli), Angelo Pignatelli, David (Dawn) Pignatelli, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She will be deeply missed but always in our hearts. Prayers will be offered Sunday, August 15 at 4:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1450 Delta Ave., Burnaby, B.C. where Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Monday, August 16 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment South Mausoleum Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, B.C.
