Mr. Simon Kim Ying Tang

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Simon Kim Ying Tang on March 25, 2025. Born on December 27, 1957, in Hong Kong, Simon was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Kim, his children, Alyssia (Patrick) and Landon, and his cherished grandchildren, Mia and Everett. Simon also leaves behind his beloved brothers, Tony (Paula), Lawrence (Ferly), and Eric (Fiona), along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Simon’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of generosity and strength will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

A funeral service to honour and celebrate Simon’s life will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby on Saturday April 12th at 1PM. There will be no reception following the service due to renovations at the funeral home’s reception facility.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to Brain Injury Canada in Simon’s memory. (Link provided below)

懷念親愛的鄧劍英

我們懷著無比沉痛的心情宣佈，鄧劍英先生於2025年3月25日突然離世。鄧先生於1957年12月27日出生於香港，是一位慈愛的丈夫、父親、祖父、兄弟及摯友。

他摯愛的妻子Kim、子女Alyssia（Patrick）及Landon，以及摯愛的孫兒Mia和Everett，將永遠懷念他。他的兄長Tony（Paula）、Lawrence（Ferly）及Eric（Fiona），以及眾多親友，也會深切懷念他。

鄧先生的溫暖、善良和對家人的無私愛護，將長存於我們心中。他的慷慨和堅毅精神，將在所有被他感動過的人心中延續。

我們將於2025年4月12日（星期六）下午1時，在本那比 Forest Lawn 殯儀館（地址：3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby）舉行追思會，以紀念和緬懷鄧先生的一生。由於殯儀館的接待設施正在翻新，儀式結束後將不設追悼宴會。

家人懇辭花籃，如欲悼念，可捐款予 加拿大腦損傷協會（Brain Injury Canada），以紀念鄧先生。

他將被永遠愛戴，永不忘懷。
