It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sing Ho, who passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the age of 94. Sing is survived by his son Andy (Vivian) and his 2 daughters Ying Nar (Ron) and Ying Li (Tino); grandchildren Jeff, Jennifer (Eddie), Jollean (Tony), Olivia, Kaitlyn and Megan; great grandchildren Ethan, Payton, Emma and Hailey.
Sing was a kind, caring, and deeply empathetic man whose warmth touched the lives of those around him. He will be remembered most of all for the love and care he gave to his family. He was a devoted father and a loving grandfather and great-grandfather. His family was a source of great pride and joy throughout his life, and the memories they shared with him will be treasured always.
Throughout his life, Sing dedicated himself to both education and his community. He worked as a teacher and later became the owner of an Asian dried food store, bringing his hard work, knowledge, and kindness into everything he did.
Sing found happiness in the simple things in life. He enjoyed Chinese opera and mahjong, and he was an enthusiastic basketball fan. He was especially dedicated to his garden, where he took great pride in caring for his plants and watching them grow. The things he cultivated were more than just plants—they reflected his patience, care, and love for nurturing something with his own hands.
Those who knew Sing will remember his gentle nature, his generosity, and the compassion he showed to others. His presence brought comfort and warmth to his family, and his absence will be deeply felt.
Though he is no longer with us, his love and the lessons he shared will continue through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
