Tai was born on 13 November 1932 in Guangdong Province of China where she spent her childhood and teenage years. As a young lady, she moved to Hong Kong with her sisters and married her husband Kam Po Zee in 1955. The whole family emigrated to Canada in early 1980s.
A woman of strong will and perseverance, Tai spent decades pouring her heart into her family as a dedicated wife assisting her late husband in running their family restaurants (both in Hong Kong and Vancouver) and as a devoted mother in raising her children.
Tai’s legacy will live on through her four children Peter, Danny, David, and Betty; her three grandchildren Carmen, Bryan, and Daniel; and her great grandson Luka.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00-11:00 am, Saturday, August 15th at Ocean View Funeral Chapel, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby BC. Committal service will follow thereafter at 11:30 am.
