It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Teresina Bevilacqua. Teresa passed away June 16th at Vancouver General Hospital.
Born October 3rd, 1933, in Fontaniva, Italy to Antonio Pandin and Gelinda Scremin. Teresa moved to Vancouver May 1966, with 4 children and had 3 more here in Canada. She worked at SFU for many years before finally retiring in 1990.
Teresa is survived by her children, Graziano (Kathy), Urbano (Karen), Antonio, Roberta (Gianni), Sonia (Todd), Eda (Rick) and Giuseppe; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; a brother Mario (Rita), a sister Rita (Walter), and many nieces and nephews in Italy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada are welcome.
