Trés chère Thérèse,

C'est avec une profonde tristesse que  je viens d'apprendre ton décès. Je garderai toujours de bons souvenirs de ta gentillesse, de ta disponibilité  et de ton dévouement à mon égard  et aussi avec ma famille.
Tu as été une maman pour moi dans ce pays où j'ai immigré et je te porterai toujours dans mon coeur. Encore une fois MERCI pour tout.

Therese will be missed by our French group. We have many fond memories of her.

Therese was so precious - we attended church together at New West Community Church and probably without fail after the service she would turn around with a glow on her face; put her hand over her chest and say how precious the message was.  A special remembrance was when she, Dorina and I all celebrated a landmark birthday together with additional Christian brothers and sisters at a nearby restaurant.  We were only 1 day apart in our birthdays but there was a 20 year gap for each of us.   Therese longed to be in heaven with Jesus so her prayer has now been answered!

What a tremendous sister in the Lord Therese was. She was so full, overflowingly full, of joy and love in the Holy Spirit. I remember her telling me the story of her conversion to faith in Jesus Christ and how God had blessed her so many ways as a young girl as well as an adult. The passage that comes to mind as I think of her is  Romans 5:5, "and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."
