Virginia Sam

Virginia Sam passed away peacefully with her two daughters by her side on April 14, 2025, at the age of 90.

She will be lovingly remembered by Sylvia (Norman), Anthony (Laurie), David (Jewel), Helen, Vera, Doug (June), her grandchildren Janelle (Matt) and Jason (Lucy), her great-grandchildren Raphael, Emma and Elias; and her favourite dog, Jackpot.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of many years, William M.C. Sam.

Virginia was born in Tsing Yuen, Guangdong, raised in Hong Kong and moved to Vancouver after her marriage. She was an accomplished chef, baker, florist, traveller, mentor, and a good friend to many. She lived a fulfilled life.

She will be dearly missed by all.

A visitation will be held for this beautiful woman on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Forest Lawn Chapel.

A funeral service for Virginia will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Chapel

Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 11:30 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park
