Come Dice Sant' Agostino:
La Morte non è niente. Sono Solamente passato dall' altra Parte: è come fossi nascosto nella Stanza Accanto

In Remembrance of Zio...

Thank-you for your kindness it meant much to me.

Forever will I remember all the vibrant conversations at the dinner table. There were so many lessons and stories told in your unique fashion.

I would watch for that sparkle of mischief in your eye, observant of that great grin & huge smile. I knew next there would be uproarious laughter to follow.

I was very blessed to have a wonderful Uncle such as you.

I will Always wear a smile upon my face to show the world of all the precious memories that I value so dearly in my heart &
in my soul.

You Will Forever Be Lovingly Celebrated in Our Memories.

Giovanni

My Sincere Condolences to Zia Palma and Cousins, my thoughts are with you all.

Compare Vittorio and Palma blessed my life and the lives of so many people, touching us all with humour, compassion, respect, courtesy, and love. Vittorio would always make us laugh at the shop telling us jokes and quotes like”Anyone who never made a mistake, has never tried anything new” and too smart, too late”. He inspired us to be the very best that we could be with his positive and confident attitude. I’ve been graced with the opportunity to be a part of Vittorio’s love and passion for the manufacturing of fine wood products, always guiding the North American industry, and leaving his Legacy of quality and innovation, with us to continue at Stilewood. My family is truly blessed to have the Ciccone family in our life and will miss Vittorio dearly. We know your strength will guide us from above. Cara Palma, hai sacrificato per renderlo a suo agio per tanti anni, ma ora, Vittorio e in pace con dio. Love you, pace e riposo

Victor is such an amazing and extraordinary man and he will truly be missed by so many but more so to me. When I first met Victor, it was only like a passed by, but he noticed me and saw something in me that I didn’t know I had at that time in my life.

He is not just a Boss; he was my Mentor who toke me beneath his wings; he was like my Father who guided me through life; he was my Car Pool Partner who told me his life experiences and a True Friend who shares some of the fondest jokes and moments. Whenever and however some of life difficulties arise, he was also there to guide me through with humor. The bond between us is beyond what people see. He is the other “M” in M&M that will never be forgotten for as long as I live. I am deeply saddened in the lost of my other “M”, but his advice, humor and laughter will always remain in my thoughts forever.

He is at a better place now, so till our path cross again “M”…….

Love always,
Alan

We all strive for that balance in life between being successful in our chosen area of work, family life and having fun. For me, Zio Vittorio was the perfect example of having achieved that balance and it left you wanting the same for yourself. Over the years, Zio Vittorio established and maintained a successful business that to this day his family have continued to grow and flourish while at the same time never losing sight of the importance of family and keeping them close. His self-made success in these areas allowed him the freedom to also enjoy other aspects of life such as travel and entertainment. Zio Vittorio was that one uncle that you knew thrived in the lighter side of life as he was quick with a joke and would always have a story about the pranks and hi-jinks he was involved in while growing-up that always would leave you in tears from the laughter that it created. He was a great dancer and being at weddings and other special functions with him, left you in awe of his prowess on the dance floor.

Your visits with Zio Vittorio always left you wanting more and even despite his failing health 10 years ago, you could see that this side of him remained unchanged. He always summoned the will and strength to make your visit with him enjoyable and one that still brought humour and laughter while making sure you were well looked-after with food and comfort.

For my family, Zio Vittorio meant more than words can describe. He and my dad immigrated to Canada at the exact same time following their older brother, Francesco, and for immigrants, although a new country brought hope and excitement, I can only imagine how anxiety-provoking it would have been with the fear of failure and the need to start a new life. For my father, the comfort of having his brother with him, I am certain, alleviated some of the anxiety that was inevitably present. Zio Vittorio made sure that my dad saw the lighter side of life
